The recommended application rate is 8 ounces per acre when applied in the row or furrow with starter fertilizer or side-dressed nutrients. The recommended application rate is 16 ounces per acre when broadcast on the soil surface, and Chandler Soil can be applied with herbicides, liquid fertilizer, or with other Chandler products. A 2.5 gallon jug will treat 20 acres at the 16 ounce rate and 40 acres at the 8 ounce rate.
